Self-care is not optional. Whether it’s five quiet minutes in the morning, a weekly walk in the park, or seeking professional help, self-care is an act of courage and self-respect. And perhaps most importantly, it reminds us that we matter.

Healing from codependency is not about rejecting love and connection—it’s about transforming relationships into spaces of mutual respect, personal growth, and genuine emotional fulfillment.

Shame is an intense emotion that arises when we feel fundamentally flawed, unworthy, or inadequate. Unlike guilt, which is about feeling bad for a specific action, shame permeates our self-identity, making us believe that we are inherently unworthy of love, belonging, or success.

Empowerment is about taking ownership of one's own growth, overcoming obstacles, and fostering resilience. It's not merely about external achievements but about inner strength, self-awareness, and the ability to navigate life's challenges with confidence and purpose.

Among the well-known five stages of grief—denial, anger, bargaining, depression, and acceptance—anger is the most explosive and, perhaps, the most misunderstood. Understanding the interplay between anger and fear can shed light on why this stage is so intense and why, ultimately, it is essential for healing.

Let's talk about it tonight!
