The 💐Gardens of Pamlico had a great 🎄Christmas party. Mr 🎅🏻and Mrs 🧑🏻‍🎄Santa Claus made a special appearance to kick off the 🎉party. There were 🧁cupcakes and 🍨ice cream sundaes followed by 🎁gift opening. Cupcakes were furnished by our wonderful hospice, Gentiva, and gifts were given to the resident’s by Home Instead. Thank you to everyone who helped make this day special for our residents!👏👏👏

It’s beginning to look a lot like 🎄Christmas here at the 💐Gardens of Pamlico. Decorated with many seasonal 🐻‍❄️bears, and beautiful colors, we are ready for this 🎁Holiday Season. Thank you, Sandy for ensuring that our community looks amazing!!👏👏👏

It was a great 🎉celebration for our 🧑‍✈️veteran, Miss Ann! Miss Ann served in the Navy from 1945 to 1946 as a Nurse 🧑🏼‍⚕️in the Naval Hospital. Now, at age 101, we are proud 🫶to honor her and her service. Thanks to her daughter, Peggy, and those at Gentiva Hospice, Kristin, Kathy, and Chaplain Gray for throwing this 🎊celebration! Friend and family alike came to help celebrate. Thank you 👏to everyone who helped make her day special!

The Gardens of Pamlico 💐residents would love to thank Ms. Rolayne Schewindy for not only talking about the beautiful🌺 quilts she brought to show off, but for giving them to the residents! They all had a great time hearing 👂🏻about each quilt and were very excited when she wanted to give them away. Thank you 👏so much, Ms. Rolayne, for helping to put a smile on our residents 😄faces!!

We are closely monitoring the approaching storm. At this time, our plan is to shelter in place unless we are mandated by the county to evacuate. Please rest assured that our team is fully prepared and ready for the storm.

A special 🙏🏻thanks to Kesha and Kristina with Gentiva Hospice for helping us at the 💐Gardens of Pamlico celebrate 🎊National Assisted Living Week. They brought residents and staff this beautiful cake 🍰and cups of 🍨ice cream. And you can see by the smiles 😊on their faces, the residents enjoyed every bite. Thank you so much, it was greatly appreciated👏👏🥰

We would to thank Alberta with Pruitt Hospice for the ☕️coffee and 🍩donuts she brought to help us 🎉Celebrate National Assisted Living Week. The residents here at the 💐Gardens of Pamlico had a great time ⏰listening to and telling stories 📚with Alberta. Thank you 🙏🏻so much for doing this and making our residents smile☺️!!👏👏👏

One of our very own, Nicole Croom, was featured on the front of the Beacon 🕯️for the Pamlico Community 🏫College. She took the CNA course and allowed the other 🧑🏼‍⚕️👩🏽‍⚕️students to use her for practice. We our proud 🫶to have Nicole on our team here at the 💐Gardens of Pamlico!!

One of the things our residents at the 💐Gardens of Pamlico love to do are 🧩puzzles. Mr. Joey worked very hard on this one and has every right to be proud 🫶of it. Way to go, Mr. Joey!!👏👏👏

We started off the CNA/PCA week with a 🤝meet and greet with our new Gentiva Representation, Kristina. She brought all kinds of treats 🧁🍭🍫and helped us THANK all of our PCA/CNA/Med Techs. We have an awesome team at the 💐Gardens of Pamlico and appreciate 👏all they do for our residents and the community. Their week runs from June 12th to June 18th so we have several days to 🎉celebrate! Let’s give these wonder caregivers a big shout out!🫶👏🫶👏🫶

We are proud to announce 🎙️our two newest residents here at the 💐Gardens of Pamlico. Miss Barbara is from New Bern and is very close to her sister, 👭🏽Karen. Mr Albert is from right here 🏡in Pamlico County and has known our very own Sandy for years. Please help us extend a big “WELCOME” to them both!👏👏👏👏👏👏
