Back at this month sharing a BRACING workshop.... If you lift *any* weights, this is for you!
Bracing requires a lot from all components of the core system. If you want to increase performance, decrease injury risk, or eliminate leaking pain or pressure, see you there 💪🏻

Perimenopause (and lots of other times, really) can bring about lots of changes. Is easy for the industry response to be "oh that's normal".
But "normal" and COMMON aren't the same thing...

Leaks, Pressure, or Discomfort? You Are Not Alone. 🩰🌿

Midlife brings complex changes, and one of the most common—yet often minimized—physiological shifts happens in the pelvic floor. These dense tissues are vital for support, stability, and physical autonomy.

Estrogen fluctuation directly impacts the health and integrity of this area, leading to symptoms that community members often describe as "silent shifts."

The Physiological Facts:
Leaks (urinary incontinence) are common but NOT a normal part of aging. Constant pelvic pressure or structural discomfort is NOT something you have to "just live with." These are validated physical changes, and they are manageable.

Our mission is to dismantle the silence and offer evidence-based support.

👇 Drop a '✅' if you have ever been dismissed when asking about pelvic floor changes.

The "Before Midnight" Rule: Designing your wind-down. 🕯️📖

Clarity starts the night before. Our Counselor, Fitness, and Dietician experts all agree: a consistent routine is your greatest tool for sleep defense.

The Society Wind-Down Checklist:

The 6 PM Cutoff: Try to finish dinner early to give your body time to digest.

The Brain Dump: Use a journal to jot down tomorrow's "To-Do" list. Get the anxious thoughts out of your head and onto the paper.

The Screen-Free Hour: Turn off the phone 60 minutes before bed. Use a sleep mask or sound machine to signal "Safety."

The Midnight Goal: Aim to be in bed before midnight to align with your natural circadian rhythms.

Which of these will you try tonight? Let’s commit to one "sleep win" this week. ✨

Cast your vote for the next Tea & Talk!

You voted. We’re listening. Let’s talk about "The Core." 🩰🌿

Last week, we asked which expert you’d want to talk to most, and Pelvic Health was the clear winner. Why? Because the "silent" shifts—leaks, discomfort, or changes in structural integrity—are some of the most frustrating parts of the midlife transition.

The Physiological Reality: Your pelvic floor is dense with estrogen receptors. When those levels fluctuate, the tissue changes. It’s not "just aging" and it’s certainly not something you have to "just live with."

At Women’s Health Society, we view Pelvic Health as the foundation of your physical autonomy.

Tell us: If we hosted a dedicated "Tea & Talk" session just on Pelvic Health, would you prefer it to be:
A) An anonymous Q&A (Ask anything!)
B) A masterclass on "Beyond the Kegel"
C) A guide to finding the right local specialist
