While at GHS he led the Mustangs as captain of the football, basketball and baseball teams, He went on and achieved his undergraduate degree at West Texas State University and played as an All American middle linebacker for the Buffs who won the Missouri Valley Conference two of the four years he attended there. He received his Doctorate degree from Parker College of Chiropractic in Dallas in 1986
. He has been in practice in Grapevine ever since and has recently built and moved into a state of the art chiropractic center. Dr. Brown first experienced the benefits of Chiropractic care when as a sophomore in high school he injuried his lower back playing basketball. He was treated by traditional medicine with no results and finally after many months of having to sleep on the floor due the the extreme pain and being told that exploratory surgery might be needed his mother took him to a local doctor of chiropractic. After a few weeks of conservative care the pain was gone and her son was back in action. This experience left a lasting impression and inspired Dr. Brown to become a doctor of chiropractic himself. Through this proven conservative chiropractic method, Dr. Brown has sucessfully treated thousands of patients over the past twenty year. Many who have been diagnosed with arthritis, low back pain, headaches, chronic pain, carpel tunnel, allergies, acute injuries, neck pain and TMJ (jaw problems). An avid spokesman for the chiropractic profession, Dr.Brown has given hundreds of lectures to the public and his patients about the philosophy of chiropractic and it's all natural approach to allowing the body to heal itself by removing nerve interference caused by spinal trauma, stress, posture and joint dysfunction. Dr.Brown is living his vision to educate the public about the science and miracles of chiropractic care. Dr.Brown agrees with Thomas Edison when he stated:
"The doctor of the future will give no medicine, but will interest his patients in the care of the human frame, in diet and in the cause and prevention of disease". With this in mind, Dr. Brown is determined to fulfill his purpose to help as many people as possible to obtain and maintain an optimum level of health and well being by balancing the human body, normalize bodily function, and strengthening vital organs through the drugless holistic and all natural chiropractic approach.
