4,000 classes for Tonya — which officially makes her part teacher, part thermostat, part magical yoga creature who somehow still remembers to say ‘lock the knee’ with enthusiasm.

She’s taught thousands of students, survived thousands of hot rooms, and still shows up like it’s Day 1.

Today we honor Carla and her incredible two-decade journey as a yoga teacher. Her wisdom, discipline, and heart have shaped countless students — not just here at BYNT, but all over the world.

Carla has taught internationally and shared the practice across cultures bringing the Bikram method to an entirely new community.

Her impact is global, her teaching is timeless, and we are so grateful to have her guiding our students with the same passion she started with 20 years ago.

Here’s to Carla — a true teacher, leader, and inspiration.
