The Evil Eye: A Belief Shared Across Cultures 👁️

The belief in the evil eye isn’t limited to one religion or region , it exists across the world and throughout history.

I often get the question
“ Do I need hijama?” Or the statement “ I don’t need hijama “

Hijama is not about needing it, it is a Sunnah and a divine recommendation from the Prophet Muhammad ﷺ, revealed to him on the blessed night of Al-Israa wal-Mi‘raaj through the angels.

The Companions never questioned the recommendations of the Prophet ﷺ. Their principle was simple and powerful,
“We hear and we obey.”

On that same extraordinary night when our daily prayers were established, Hijama was also recommended, a clear sign that it holds immense benefit for mankind. Even if it feels unfamiliar or looks different from what we are used to, the reality is this,
what Hijama feels like is far more powerful than how it looks.

If we strive to follow the Sunnah in our daily lives, why leave out Hijama, a practice meant for our health, well-being, and spiritual balance?

Hijama is a remedy for the body, mind, and soul. By removing excess fluids and trapped energies, the body is able to restore its natural ability to heal itself, the way it was created to do so.
