Our physical bodies are designed to function as homeodynamic systems that can consistently adapt and optimize their many processes in order to maintain an overall state of physiological equilibrium.

When someone experiences a physical symptom that is not a part of the bodies natural and helpful response to injury or infection, that symptom is evidence that at least one part of their system is not currently functioning as it is designed to function.

Why would some aspect of someone's system not be functioning as designed?

What could be 'in the way' of their system functioning as designed?

How can the cause of the symptom be found and addressed so that one's own system can engage it's own innately designed ability to heal and return to balance?

Functional Symmetry is a relatively new mind-body approach to health and wellness that actively engages a person's nervous system using Muscle Response Testing in order to discover and attend to the 'why' behind the symptoms.

Once someone's system becomes aware that there is an imbalance and that there is something 'in the way' of a homeodynamic state, the system, itself, begins to address imbalances, search for solutions, and optimize functioning.

I have been using the system of Functional Symmetry for many years and have supported many people's systems to function with more ease, more comfort, more balance, and more well being.
