🟡 YUBA CITY & SURROUNDING AREA ::
•We’re excited to share with you a new support group in the Yuba City area that will start this month. Shari, a mom of one of our RidgeLine clients, has created an amazing opportunity to connect and come together with other moms of children with disabilities.
•The support group will be Saturday September 13th at her home from 1:00 PM - 3:00 PM. We have respite in Yuba City that day so hopefully it will be easier for our Yuba City moms to attend.

•On September 26 at our GV Facility we are hosting a Family Support Group.
“A community of parents; gathering together and sharing our stories as we navigate the complexities of raising children with special needs”
•THIS WILL BE A MONTHLY EVENT. This is open to ALL RidgeLine families from anywhere in NorCal; also open to others in the GV area living with special needs kiddos even if not affiliated with RidgeLine. Please see the flyer and contact Megan for more details.

RidgeLine Family,
Today we are asking for YOUR help, on behalf of one of our very special friends named Haven, who attends our Auburn Facility. This is not new; however we had to wait until we had full permission to share her story with our greater community. I’ll paste a little excerpt here from the that has been lovingly set in motion for Haven and her Mama, Hannah.

Many have given generously, but this family still needs our help 🙏🏼 Details are below ::

“On June 18th, 2025, Hannah’s world was turned upside down when her daughter, Haven, was diagnosed with B-Cell Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia (ALL). What was supposed to be a routine blood test quickly escalated into something unimaginable…
…In less than a week, little Haven, a joyful and carefree three-year-old, underwent surgery to place a port, had a lumbar puncture, a bone marrow biopsy, and began chemotherapy…
…As Hannah now faces this long road ahead, she has been told by her care team and social workers that she’ll need to take at least two months off work to care for Haven—and potentially more time if complications arise. She’s in the process of applying for Paid Family Leave, but due to issues with the Employment Development Department (EDD), there’s a possibility she may not qualify at all.”

For when you need a home away from home

Ridgeline Pediatric is a pediatric day health center that provides care to children ages 0-22yo with special medical needs. We are open during normal business hours, with occasional sleepovers, so that families can get the care that they need for their child while still living their lives to the fullest. Having a child with special needs can make it difficult for parents to maintain a job, or to even do simple daily tasks like going grocery shopping. Sometimes you just need a safe place for your child to go so that you can take a rest, a real rest, knowing your child is safe and their medical, emotional, and social needs are being cared for in an honest, connected and loving way. It’s almost like you need a home away from home for them. Ridgeline can be that home away from home. In collaboration with your child’s P*P, and yourself, we work with RNs, LVNs, personal care attendants and enrichment staff to provide personalized and intimate care to your child so that we can meet them where they are...and meet you where you are. This life isn’t easy, and they say it takes a village to raise a child; we would be honored to be a part of your village.
