A true honor to work helping to heal veterans alongside David West and County of Nevada, Veterans Service Office and CalVet Veterans Services. Appreciation to our amazing team of clinicians and supervisors and leadership that work with true heart and soul.

Nevada County Veterans Service Officer David West was awarded the California State Association of Counties Annual Challenge Award for his Mental Health Services Act grant work with the Sierra Therapy Center. Together they are able to ensure that veterans, service members, and their families are able to receive mental health care in rural communities.

January has been a long month for many but we have reasons to celebrate! We continue to expand our services ✅ We send almost all new hires to Brainspotting training ✅ Our support and partnership for VSO in Nevada Co is getting statewide attention and our partnership was recognized, awarding Nev Co Vet Services Office with the prestigious CSAC award (well deserved for an amazing team over there!) ✅ (and for me, I continue working for bipartisan recognition of mental health issues through Ca Legistature and supporting our growing practice to thrive and help people 🙌)
