Citizens for Choice was started in 1989, becoming a CA nonprofit in 2001. The Clinic!

It is dedicated to promoting reproductive justice, through healthcare access, education and advocacy. We strive to enable people to make informed, educated choices throughout their reproductive lives, including whether and when to bear a child, and we honor those choices. opened in May, 2006, in partnership with Women's Health Specialists (on Facebook ). lt offers a wide range of reproductive health and family planning services: pregnancy tests, birth control, IUDs, STI testing and treatment, early abortion care, referrals for prenatal care, adoption, gender affirming care and more. Join Citizens for Choice on Transgender Day of Remembrance 💞🏳️‍⚧️🎊 The event will feature speakers, food, and a candle lighting ceremony along with live and recorded music from the transgender and q***r community 🤩 The event is a potluck, so grab some snacks and friends and join us❤️

Citizens for Choice, along with PARTNERS Family Resources and the Nevada County Superintendent of Schools (NCSOS), would like to invite you to the 4th annual Latino Family Festival! 🥳💞🤩

More than 30 local organizations will be on site, offering information about: health and wellness services 🏥, educational programs📚, social support🎗️, art 🖼️, and more💐. Bilingual staff will be available to assist families in accessing resources/information in both English and Spanish.

This free, family-friendly event is a vibrant celebration of Latino cultures and a chance to build community connections. Everyone is welcome to join an evening filled with music, dancing, family fun, and helpful local resources. Citizens for Choice will be tabling, so come on by our booth and say hello!👋🏼😍🤗
