The Top 10 Must-Have Nature's Sunshine Herbal Supplements for Your Goat Herd: How to Build Your Own Herbal Medicine Cabinet

The Storm That Changed Everything
It was a stormy evening on Maplewood Farm when Sarah, a seasoned goat farmer, found herself facing a crisis. One of her prized dairy goats, Daisy, had fallen ill. The nearest vet was hours away, and the relentless rain had washed out the roads. Sarah felt a pang of helplessness as she watched Daisy struggle. But then, she remembered the small, unassuming cabinet in the corner of her barn—a collection of Nature's Sunshine herbal supplements she had been curious about but never fully utilized.
With no other options, Sarah decided to trust nature. She reached for the bottle of Echinacea, known for its immune-boosting properties, and mixed a few drops into Daisy's water. Next, she added a pinch of Slippery Elm Bark to soothe Daisy's upset stomach. As the night wore on, Sarah continued to administer small doses of Milk Thistle to support Daisy's liver and Garlic to combat any potential infections.
By morning, the storm had passed, and so had Daisy's symptoms. The goat was back on her feet, nibbling at fresh hay as if nothing had happened. Sarah couldn't believe her eyes. That day, she vowed to never underestimate the power of herbal remedies again. She decided to build a comprehensive herbal medicine cabinet for her herd, ensuring she was always prepared, no matter what nature threw her way.

Welcome to The Herbal Hour, your go-to podcast for natural healing, herbal remedies, and holistic living! Hosted by Drs. Charlotte and Timothy Test—tradition...

08/08/2024

Good morning everyone! I hope this post finds you well. For the past 5 years, Charlotte and I have taken a hiatus from health and wellness and Naturopathy. This had a lot to do with the location we were in. It was hard to see clients as we lived in a very rural area. Charlotte and I would often say that we were an hour away from everywhere. Additionally, there were other variables that contributed to that decision. As you may or may not know, we sold the farm in Bluffton, AR and bought a 38 acre farm in Fort Blackmore, VA. We have spent the past few months scrambling to try to get adequate fencing for the animals and working on getting the house livable. There is still a long way to go on the house, but I do believe we will get there, albeit slower than we had hoped.

We have been discussing in great detail what our future holds. We stumbled upon an opportunity to rent a small office in which to see clients. After speaking with family, Charlotte and I made the decision to jump in and resume our Naturopathy practice. We will be utilizing EMDR and Naturopathy to reduce symptoms of migraines and headaches, as well as our unique system of Naturopathy to get the body back into harmony and balance. Our office will be located in Gate City, VA and will be easily accessible to Virginia and Tennessee. If you are in the area and would like to book an appointment or would like to find out more about what we do, please contact me or Charlotte Marie Test and we will get you right in! We look forward to seeing you soon!
