⚠️As the holiday season quickly approaches and we look ahead to the New Year, we want to share a small update to our hours.⚠️

Starting in January, Teasley Drug will move to a Monday to Friday schedule and will no longer be open on Saturdays. Our lobby hours will change from 8:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., and our drive thru will remain open from 5:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. During that hour you can still purchase any over the counter products; just let us know what you need and we will be happy to get it for you.

Like many small independent pharmacies, we’re working through rising costs and ongoing pressure from large insurance companies and PBMs. Consolidating our hours helps us support our staff, maintain reliable weekday coverage, and continue offering the personal level of care our community depends on.

Thanksgiving week is upon us! We hope everyone is surviving the holiday shopping rush! 😀🦃

Teasley Drug will be open our normal business hours Monday through Wednesday of Thanksgiving week.

We will be closed on Thursday so our team can enjoy the holiday with their families, and we will reopen with shortened hours from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. on Friday and Saturday.

We are grateful for the trust our community places in us and we wish you and your family a safe, warm, and wonderful Thanksgiving.

💊Ever wonder why some pharmacies charge more than others for the exact same medicine?

PBMs (pharmacy benefit managers) decide what pharmacies get paid. And surprise: they pay themselves more and competing pharmacies less. That’s not fair competition. That’s a rigged game and Arkansas has led the nation in legislation to reign these profit powerhouses in...but given the dollars, they won't go without a fight.

Now here’s the kicker: CVS could choose to be a pharmacy… or a PBM. They’ve chosen the PBM route—because there’s more money in controlling the system than actually serving patients.

The new law restricts pharmacy benefit managers, also known as PBMs, which run prescription drug coverage for big clients that include health insurers and employers that provide coverage.

For the safety of our staff and customers, Teasley Drug is closing at 2:00 PM today, Monday, May 19th, in response to the severe weather forecast for our area.

We apologize for the late notice and any inconvenience but the safety of our customers and staff is always a priority.

We want to give a special “THANK YOU” to our friends over at Simple Simon’s Pizza for the amazing lunch they treated us to today. From the stromboli and pizza bread to the wings and sandwiches everything was fantastic! (Not to mention the cookie pizza everyone here went nuts for!) 😃
