Thank you to Operation Food Search, Dierbergs Markets, , and to everyone who volunteered or donated!! Due to the generosity of our local community, we have received a donation of over 700lbs of food in just 4 hours!❗❕❗

When we say we love youth, this is what we mean! In the course of just over a week these kids not only cleaned like full on professionals, but they created, painted, harvested, loved, laughed, and made our Waymakers feel so special!
Thank you to all of the wonderful teens, WM volunteer leads, YouthWorks, and our awesome staff for making this the summer of youth!

As Eva said best "Our community was loved on and fed by the youth. Waymakers were shown the love of Christ...The youth shall lead them!! Hope for our future!"

When you're right, you're right! If these youth are our future, it feels pretty bright🌞

Things are ALWAYS busy over here at The Waymakers! Lately, we have been doing project after project. From restoration efforts after the tornado, to restoring part of our historic building, to learning to grow food with our exceptional friends...we are so thankful to each and every one who helped. 🫶

Every time we have a new donor we are over the moon! 🌙

This rings especially true for the amazing and incredibly generous Buchheit Foundation! The wonderful was introduced to The Waymakers by way of our lovely friends, Darrell Davis and his son Timothy. As you can see, they went above and beyond helping to fill our pantry and provide to all our exceptional friends!

Eva said it best, “Thanks again for your immense generosity!! This food & financial support literally changes the lives of our members & neighbors!! It was really cool getting to meet you & hear your stories!” ❤

The Waymakers would like to give a quick shout-out to another amazing business partner who is helping us ! JATC Wood Floors did an absolutely stunning job on our chapel's hardwood floors! Just look at the way they gleam in the light! Thank you Just Around the Corner, Inc!

YouthWorks came by one last time for the summer and it was a blast! We can't express enough how much these kids breathe life into our hearts and organization.

Our Director Eva had this to say, "these teens were the hands & feet…& have the heart of Jesus! They brought tears to my eyes witnessing their love of serving The Waymakers & openly loving our members! I just had to get this footage to show the world how Jesus is very much living through teens today!"

Thank you for all you do for our Waymakers, you help us continue to be Exceptional!

They did it again! The amazing group of teens over at YouthWorks have reminded us there’s hope for the future! They are such an inspiration and these kids love on our Waymakers through their hard work, dedication, and connection with ‘the least of these’.

In addition to helping us prepare for an upcoming remodel, the teens also gave our vintage Boy Scout Troop 240 cabinet new purpose, prepped our sanctuary for an upcoming memorial service, painted The Chapel Kitchen dining room for our pantry patrons, painted part of the church entrance, & cleaned like pros!

We truly cannot express our gratitude enough to the kids and the whole YouthWorks organization! It is only through partnerships and volunteers like these that we are able to help so many. Thank you!!
