We are asking residents of the Coopers Community (any areas between Highway 49 and Gordon Highway) to please check any trail cameras that you may have on property in that area and search any sheds, outbuildings, barns, campers, pools, and vehicles, etc. for Jeffrey or signs that he may have been there.

If located DO NOT approach, remain quiet and dial 911. Simply monitor him until help arrives. If you approach him, he may flee or become defensive. Jeffrey is non-verbal and may not respond to his name.

Don't freeze, take action now!

The first widespread freezing temperatures of the season are expected across Georgia early next week. Impacts to outdoor or cold sensitive plumbing and to cold sensitive vegetation are likely.

Now is the time to prepare so that your family, pets, plants and pipes all stay safe and warm. Please monitor updates from your local National Weather Service and reliable media outlets this weekend and next week.

We’re honored for receiving an Impact award from Region 5 EMS for our efforts during hurricane Helene. We’re even more honored to be able to help the citizens of Georgia that were impacted by the storm. Pictured are Thomas Edwins, EMT and Courtney Hubbard, EMT who worked diligently during the aftermath of the hurricane to provide services to the citizens of south Georgia. We’re proud and grateful to have such devoted EMTs.
