We’re honored for receiving an Impact award from Region 5 EMS for our efforts during hurricane Helene. We’re even more honored to be able to help the citizens of Georgia that were impacted by the storm. Pictured are Thomas Edwins, EMT and Courtney Hubbard, EMT who worked diligently during the aftermath of the hurricane to provide services to the citizens of south Georgia. MEDIA RELEASE: National Take Back Event

On Saturday, October 26, 2024, the Bibb County Sheriff’s Office, along with the Drug Enforcement Administration, are partnering for “National Take Back Initiative 27 (NTBI)”. On this day, citizens in the Middle Georgia area can dispose of any unwanted, expired, or no longer needed prescription medications at Piedmont Macon North located at 400 Charter Blvd, Macon Georgia 31210. The time of this event will be 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. We ask that all name labels be removed from all bottles. Please note that bottles will not be accepted with labels attached. No syringes/needles or liquid medication will be accepted.
