Happy Winter Solstice! ❄️❄️
The winter solstice marks the official start of winter in the Northern Hemisphere and the shortest day of the year.

The winter solstice occurs when the Earth's tilt positions the Northern Hemisphere furthest away from the sun. This results in the longest nights and shortest days of the year. The winter solstice doesn't always fall on the same date each year because the Earth's orbit around the sun is 365.25 days, not 365. The date of the winter solstice can fall anywhere between December 20 and 23, but the 21st and 22nd are the most common. ❄️❄️
