The Grayslake Giving Trees display is now open until December 27.

Today we take a closer look at the Grayslake Giving Tree of the Banana Borrowers NFP.

The purpose of Banana Borrowers is to provide families and children in our community with access to a divers and every-expanding collection of high-quality toys, games, educational resources and hands-on classes.

The first of the Grayslake Giving Trees has already been installed! Banana Borrowers NFP was in the exhibit hall bright and early today to decorate their tree.
Come see it at the 2025 Grayslake Giving Trees opening on November 28. The Grayslake Heritage Center & Museum will be open 12 - 6 PM for that occasion.

Banana Borrowers “TOY” Lending Library tree is now up at the Grayslake Heritage Center. Stop by and purchase tickets to vote on your favorite tree. The tree with the most votes gets to cash in on the money raised!!!
This years theme was At the Movies and we think we nailed it on choosing Toy Story!!!

The Giving Trees are starting to trickle in! By next week, the room will be all lit up and magical. Just in time for the Festival of Lights & Holiday Market!

Make sure you visit the Grayslake Heritage Center and Museum on November 29 because we open as early as 12 PM and will stay open until 7 PM to give you the opportunity to stroll through a room full of trees decorated by local nonprofits.

In line with our "Growing Up X" exhibit, 2024 Grayslake Giving Trees theme is: Vintage.

Quantity are limited and orders must be received and invoices paid by noon Friday 8/16. Pick up Saturday 8/17 3-4 at Pediatric Interactions (or next week during your child’s scheduled session for clients)
