💧🛠️THURSDAY AUGUST 7th

We will be open 12-4:30 due to the water being cut off to our area on Main Street so repairs can be made by the city of Grayson. We are hopeful water will be restored by 12:00 but feel free to call us to make sure before you come by.

Why are IV fluids so expensive? Why is it $100.00 for a bag of fluids with vitamins in it? Why is my office visit $56.00?

Notice the amount a hospital charges for one bag of IV fluids (normal saline, no additives). This is an actual bill from a hospital in Atlanta….so it is not local…..however this is on par with almost all hospitals.

We try to keep our prices as low as possible but we need your help. Please be mindful that our clinic depends on our patients paying their bills❤️

Happy (hot and humid) Monday!
With the upcoming heat, please be aware of the most common signs of dehydration:

Dizziness
Light headed
Headache
Nausea

If you experienece these symptoms you need to go inside, cool off, and drink lots of water. This is your body giving you warning signs. Listen to it.

Drink lots of water and avoid being outside during peak hours (10 am-2 pm). Keep infants and children INSIDE! In heat warnings, even a pool is a bad idea. Babies dehydrate very quickly and can be life threatening.

If you are with someone that has overheated and they are confused, lethargic, or vomiting….call 911. These are signs of heat stroke and is a medical emergency.

Side note: even if you are in a body of water (pool, lake, ocean) you can still dehydrate very easily! Make sure you are drinking!
