Bless the elders with peace and dignity, strengthen the caretakers with compassion and rest, fill the volunteers with joy, and multiply the generosity of donors. Surround each of them in Faith, Care, and Family. Let Your love and hope shine through every act of service.

Today we ask you to join us in reflecting upon 1 John 4:19 and to pray over our elders.

Dear Heavenly Father,

We come before you today with a heart full of gratitude for the gift of life and the blessing you have bestowed upon us. We want to pray for the elderly, who have spent their lives nurturing and raising families, contributing to society, and building our communities. Lord, as they enter their golden years, I ask that you bless them with your overwhelming love; especially in times of pain, loneliness and fear.
Lord, we ask that you surround each elder with deep and meaningful relationships, a sense of purpose and wholeness, and the knowledge that your love is enough.

In Jesus’s name, we pray. Amen.

Honoring the heroes who have served our country 🇺🇸 Across our ten communities each gathered to thank and celebrate Veterans Day with speeches, a wall dedication and honorary plaques.

Today, we will leave you, our Christian Care Family, with Psalm 91, The Soldiers Psalm:

“Whoever dwells in the shelter of the Most High will rest in the shadow of the Almighty. I will say of the Lord, “He is my refuge and my fortress, my God, in whom I trust.” Surely he will save you from the fowler’s snare and from the deadly pestilence. He will cover you with his feathers, and under his wings you will find refuge; his faithfulness will be your shield and rampart. You will not fear the terror of night, nor the arrow that flies by day, nor the pestilence that stalks in the darkness, nor the plague that destroys at midday. A thousand may fall at your side, ten thousand at your right hand, but it will not come near you. You will only observe with your eyes and see the punishment of the wicked.
