ANY day is a GREAT day to focus on fruits and veggies…but especially in the month of June.
JUNE IS NATIONAL FRUIT & VEGETABLE MONTH.
Are you looking for improved overall health, disease prevention, improved hair, skin, and nails, and long term weight control? Consistent daily fruit and vegetable intake can do that for you!
Here are 3 EASY ways to get started:
🍎1. Purchase your favorite fruits and veggies fresh (varied ripeness) and frozen to last the whole week.
🥦2. Cook extra veggies so you have some for later. Work smarter, not harder!
🫐3. Make fruits and veggies delicious! Find a new recipe, add yummy toppings, make veggies into pizza, use spices, herbs, nuts, and seeds to jazz them up so they are appealing.
Be willing to try new things, add some color to your plate, and add a vegetable when you can!
