One last Master Your Mood class this summer, catch it this Thursday 26th at 9-10:30 am at Berkshire Pulse. The theme is Somatic Movement for Self-Love, Vibrancy and Creativity. In this 90 minute workshop we will: learn what somatic movement is, learn how joyful and pleasurable movement can bring us into a healing process, explore a sensual movement practice and dance meditation through the chakras.

"Uprooted" dress design by Deborah H Carter and photography by Eric Korenman. So much fun to be part of this collaborative creation! It deepened my connection with nature and the plant world! See more of Deb's work at the Nature to Nurture exhibit at Spencertown Academy Arts Center Nurturing Nature May 31-June 29.

In this exhibition six women artists explore their symbiotic relationships with the natural world. The show features wearable art, mixed media sculptures, paintings and monoprints, photography, ceramics and digital prints. It will be a feast for the senses.

The next Master Your Mood class will be on Thursday May 15th from 9-10:30 at Berkshire Pulse. The theme is Finding Joy and Calm Through Nervous System regulation. We will learn how to move through our nervous system states with more ease, overcome our emotional ruts, and break free from undesirable behavior patterns using the techniques below.

Master Your Mood 8 week course starts in 10 days!

This class teaches you to master your mood, unlocking new possibilities while enhancing joy, acceptance, gratitude, and self-empowerment through self-care practices. We'll engage in breath work, movement, journaling, meditation, and explore Ayurvedic and Qigong techniques. Each 90-minute session begins with movement, followed by introspective exercises as well as lecture. You'll discover new teachings, identify daily practices, and create personalized schedules aligned with your goals. Please bring a notebook or journal.
