🚑❤️ Kansas CPR Training was back on the road last Thursday morning with a beautiful drive to Junction City, Kansas for another outstanding CPR & First Aid class!

We had the opportunity to provide training at the public library for the supervisors and management staff of Schwartz Farms. Schwartz Farms is a major pork producer headquartered in Sleepy Eye, Minnesota with farms located throughout Minnesota, South Dakota, Iowa, Nebraska, and Kansas. We were honored to train 11 employees from their Herrington, Kansas location.

What a fantastic group of people! From the moment class started, they were completely tuned in, engaged, and eager to learn. They asked a ton of thoughtful questions, participated throughout the class, and truly wanted to be prepared for real-life emergencies that could arise both at work and at home.

Not only were they professional and respectful, but they also made the class a lot of fun with their great attitudes and sense of humor. We thoroughly enjoyed spending the day with them and appreciate the opportunity to work with such an impressive team.

By the end of the training, they left feeling more confident, prepared, and ready to step up should an emergency ever happen—and we are confident they will rise to the occasion when needed.

In addition to this class, we also had several individuals stop by our office throughout the week to complete their CPR & First Aid re-certifications. We are incredibly grateful for everyone who continues to trust Kansas CPR Training for their lifesaving education needs.

🚑❤️ Another busy and exciting week for Kansas CPR Training is in the books—and we are incredibly grateful for everyone who continues to trust us with their CPR, AED, and First Aid training needs across Kansas!

Last Saturday morning, we were back at Hutchinson Community College for our monthly class with daycare providers. We always enjoy these classes because the childcare professionals who attend are so passionate about keeping children safe and prepared for emergencies. Thank you to everyone who attended!

On Tuesday evening, we hosted a class at our office in Great Bend where we recertified some of the staff from Amber Waves Staffing. This was our second class with their team, and we truly appreciate their continued trust in us. Amber Waves is a traveling nurse staffing company based here in Great Bend, and their team was once again completely locked in, engaged, and ready to learn. Fantastic group of people!

Then came yesterday’s road trip to Manhattan, Kansas to train the staff at Freedom Behavioral Health Services — and wow… let’s just say Kansas weather had other plans 😳🌬️

You know it’s a windy Kansas day when it takes an entire tank of gas to make it to Manhattan and back! The wind was absolutely wild yesterday. At one point, I nearly watched a semi-tip over right in front of me before the driver thankfully got it back under control. Let’s just say there were a few white-knuckle moments behind the wheel 😅

Thankfully, once we arrived, the class made the trip completely worth it. Freedom Behavioral Health Services has offices across the country—including Alaska—and their team was outstanding. They had a great sense of humor, asked a lot of thoughtful questions, and stayed engaged throughout the entire training. We’re extremely appreciative they chose Kansas CPR Training, and we’re excited to return for future classes with their staff.

In between all of that, we’ve also been conducting several one-on-one sessions and working frantically behind the scenes with our marketing company as we prepare to launch our new services very soon 👀

Last week was another reminder of why we absolutely love what we do at Kansas CPR Training! ❤️🚑

We stayed busy with three outstanding classes in three different settings, and we’re incredibly grateful for every person and organization that continues to trust us with their CPR, AED, and First Aid training needs.

Tuesday Evening – Great Bend, KS
We kicked off the week at Iron Therapy Training where Aaron Raney graciously hosted our monthly public CPR & First Aid class at his facility. We had the opportunity to retrain Aaron’s staff and also welcomed a couple of future babysitters who made the trip from Larned, Kansas to attend. We always enjoy teaching these classes because you never know when the skills learned could help save a life. A huge thank you to Aaron for opening his doors and continuing to support us!

Thursday Evening – Salina, KS
Next stop… The Temple where Joey conducted his first public class — and he absolutely crushed it! We had an incredible turnout with 19 attendees traveling from Salina, Inman, and Minneapolis, Kansas. The class was filled with great participation, thoughtful questions, and a lot of hands-on learning. We’re extremely proud of Joey and excited to watch his confidence, knowledge, and teaching abilities continue to grow with every class he leads.

Friday Morning – Great Bend, KS
We wrapped up the week back in our hometown at the Family Crisis Center for another large training with 18 attendees. The Family Crisis Center plays such an important role in our community by providing support, advocacy, emergency shelter, and resources for individuals and families affected by domestic violence, sexual assault, and crisis situations. We’re honored to work with organizations making such a powerful difference in people’s lives. This group brought an amazing sense of humor, asked a ton of great questions, and stayed fully engaged from start to finish.

We had the opportunity to provide a BLS (Basic Life Support) class for their dental hygiene department, and WOW… what an outstanding group of students 👏

From the very beginning, this group was locked in, engaged, and ready to learn. They asked a ton of great questions, worked incredibly well as a team, and really enjoyed the hands-on training—which is exactly where confidence is built!

💡 For those who may not know, Job Corps is a federally funded program that helps young people gain valuable career training, education, and life skills to prepare them for the workforce. We are proud to play a small role in helping equip these students with life-saving CPR and first aid skills as they move forward in their careers.

🎉 WHAT a Friday night at Kansas CPR Training! 🎉

We hosted a rare Friday night class at our office in Great Bend—and WOW… what a treat this one was!

We had two amazing local families join us—the Akers and the Williamsons—bringing a total of 7 kids ages 5–12 👏

And let me tell you… these kids were INCREDIBLE.
So well-behaved, so engaged, and honestly beyond their years in maturity. We were extremely impressed!

From the very beginning, this group was locked in, asking great questions and really wanting to learn. That’s what makes classes like this so special.

👏 Huge credit to these families for introducing their kids to CPR and first aid at such a young age.
These are skills that will stay with them for life—helping them stay calm, think clearly, and take action in an emergency.

🚨 THIS is what separates Kansas CPR Training from the rest… 🚨

We’re catching up on our week this morning and WOW—what a couple of days it’s been!

Tuesday evening, we were back at The Fieldhouse in Great Bend for the 3rd time training Julie Spray and her fitness instructors 💪

We absolutely love this group. It’s not just about getting them certified—it’s catching up on life, business, and family. Always a great class, and we’re already looking forward to seeing them again in 2 years!

👉 BUT here’s where things got interesting…

Earlier Tuesday, we received a call from a daycare provider in the Norton, KS area. She was stressed and in a tough spot—she had 2 new employees that needed certified ASAP and couldn’t find anyone to help.

And this is EXACTLY why we do what we do.

Because we are a FULL-TIME CPR training company, we’re not limited like part-time instructors. We can respond during the day, handle last-minute requests, and find solutions when others can’t.

Now—Norton is about 2.5 hours from Great Bend, and normally we wouldn’t make that drive for just two people…
