Last night’s CPR & First Aid class for kids at our Great Bend office was a total blast! 🎉 We had a fantastic turnout, and we are still smiling from all the fun we had!

🧃🍪 The kids enjoyed some tasty snacks, we gave away a $10 Sonic gift card, and best of all—we got to know each of these awesome young future lifesavers! ❤️

We laughed, we shared stories, we talked about emergencies—and WOW did they impress us with their thoughtful questions and eagerness to learn. These kids were fully engaged, hands-on, and ready to handle anything with calm and confidence. 💪

We are so incredibly proud of each and every one of them. Their dedication and focus truly blew us away.

🌟 Fun & Exciting Update from Kansas CPR Training! 🌟

Last night, we had the privilege of training at Trinity Lutheran Church in Great Bend for the TLC Little Blessings Preschool staff! We retrained their amazing team of 7, and as always, it was an absolute joy to be back.

We’ve been working with this wonderful group for several years, and we’re so appreciative every time they invite us to return. It was a fun evening filled with laughter, great stories, and thoughtful questions. By the end of class, we felt confident that their team is fully prepared to step up and handle any emergency situation that may arise.

And yes… we were so caught up in the fun that we completely forgot to take a picture of this fantastic crew! 📷 Next time, we promise!

🚨💥 Back to My Roots — Hoisington Style! 💥🚨
Kansas CPR Training continued its action-packed week yesterday with a very special trip to one of my favorite places—my old stomping grounds: Hoisington, Kansas! 🏡❤️

We kicked off the day with a personalized, in-home one-on-one CPR & First Aid re-certification for a wonderful daycare provider. I believe this was the FOURTH time we've worked together, and it's always such a joy! She was incredibly appreciative of our in-home option, which offers the flexibility and convenience busy providers need. It was a fantastic session—and these are the moments that make what we do so rewarding. 🙌

After wrapping up the training, I treated myself to a little Hoisington tradition: a Dairy Queen Blizzard (because you can’t come home without stopping by DQ! 🍦).

Then it was off to the Hoisington Activity Center, where we trained Chris Kinman and his awesome staff. We had five great people in attendance, and I re-certified the whole group on CPR, AED, and First Aid skills. The class was packed with valuable topics, great engagement, and even a few laughs shared from our memories of growing up in our amazing small town. 🤗

But the highlight of the night? One of the attendees became the teacher. He opened up and educated the entire class (and me!) about living with a pacemaker and automated internal defibrillator (AID). He shared his story—how and why they were installed, how they work, and what it feels like to live with them. It was eye-opening, heartfelt, and truly inspiring.

Even more impressive? He still referees sports. When I asked him why, he said, “Because I love it—and because without referees, there are no sports.” That passion and dedication hit me right in the heart. ❤️⚽🏀⚾

Thank you to Chris and the entire Hoisington Activity Center team for making it such a special evening. It was a night of learning, laughter, and reconnecting with my roots.

🚨💥 BUSY WEEK? YOU BET — AND WE LOVED EVERY MINUTE OF IT! 💥🚨
Kansas CPR Training has had another packed and productive week across the great state of Kansas, and we’re so proud of the amazing people we’ve had the honor to train! 💪❤️

We kicked things off on Monday in Plainville, KS, where we hosted a CPR & First Aid training for the Plainville School System daycare staff. With 5 team members in attendance, it was a small group—but wow, were they engaged! They asked fantastic questions, soaked in the information like pros, and left feeling confident and prepared for anything. 🧠✨

From there, we hit the road for a 3-hour drive down to the charming town in southeastern Kansas, called Fredonia, where we stayed overnight to be up bright and early at 7AM for a double-header of training with Systech Environmental Corporation. These folks do incredibly tough and dangerous work—processing and recycling hazardous waste—and we have so much respect for what they do. 🙌

We held two classes for their teams, and both groups were sharp, curious, and fully engaged. During our break, we took time to explore the town and had a nostalgic breakfast at a cozy old-fashioned café that brought back memories of Mom’s home-cooked meals. 🍳☕️ It was a heartwarming moment in a busy day!

After wrapping up in Fredonia, we raced back to Great Bend to host a private session for a wonderful couple getting ready to adopt their first child. CPR & First Aid training is a key requirement for becoming foster parents, and this couple absolutely nailed it! Their excitement and attentiveness were inspiring—we’re confident their child will be in safe hands. 👶💞

As for the long drives? Let’s just say… my plastic training assistants (aka manikins) don’t make the best road trip buddies. Not much for conversation, LOL! 😄

And we’re not done yet—tonight we’re heading to Hoisington to keep the momentum going with more life-saving training!
