It was a little chilly today as we caught a glimpse of the first signs of Fall! That didn't stop us from celebrating National Banana Split Day with ALL the choices! Brenda made each treat per individual order and we had yet another round of joy, laughs and the biggest smiles. Today is another special day as we celebrate Natalie's 1st Workiversary! She may be our youngest employee but that means nothing when it comes to her strong work ethic and her commitment and care that she provides to our residents! Natalie is preparing to start nursing school next week and we couldn't be more proud to see how much she's grown in just one year's time! Thank you, Natalie, for all you do! We are celebrating birthdays #3 and #4 for this week with a pair of birthday buddies! As luck would have it, they even unknowingly requested the exact same dessert in honor of their special day! Another day is in the books and we enjoyed it to the fullest! Poor planning, or maybe fate, brought us ANOTHER afternoon of root beer floats to celebrate National Root Beer Float Day! Nobody complained, of course, but posing for pictures was just too much to ask this time around 😂😂 we let them all enjoy their treat in peace! Then a fun game of Farkle rounded out the afternoon! ❤️

Pauline is always keeping us laughing! When we wished her a Happy Birthday first thing this morning, she said "Oh really, its my birthday?" and then proceeded to ask how old she was. While we truly believe she is no older than 25 at heart with a full personality of ornery wit, she was in shock when we told her that she was "94" today! She says - "Oh it can't be, they don't make them that old. Don't say that too loud!" 😂😂 As you can also see, our August birthdays share the same cravings! Another chocolate pie for the win! Happy 94th Birthday, Pauline! We can go back to fibbing about your age tomorrow!
