I just want to take a moment to say a big ✨thank you✨ to everyone who has checked in, offered help, sent kind words, or shown me support this past week and a half. Your kindness has not gone unnoticed. This injury slowed me down in ways I didn’t expect but it’s also been teaching me a lot about accepting / receiving help and giving myself grace.💫

Being a sole-income household that unexpectedly can’t work and headed into the holiday [Massage Therapist “busy”] season felt very overwhelming and to put it lightly, scary as a mother.

Thank you for lifting me up, surrounding us with love, and the reminder that even in the toughest moments, there’s a lot of good to be noticed.💛

‼️Even your Massage Therapist gets hurt sometimes😅

While chasing this little escape artist 🐾 out the front door, I managed to fall down the steps and ended up with a radial head fracture. Recovery is expected to take about 4–6 weeks, so I’m resting up and letting my own healing hands(and arm) heal

I’ll keep everyone updated on when I’ll be back to scheduling again💜

🌜Pre/Postnatal & Infant Massage🌛

Yesterday I spent the afternoon taking introductory Pre/Postnatal and Infant Massage classes at Fort Hays State University Massage Therapy Program with Ceena Lund

While in school those units were my favorite these additional education hours provided a new depth to my skill set and was a good reminder of how rewarding massage can be for parents and their children. I’m looking forward to bringing what I’ve learned into future sessions and continuing to grow in this specialization🌟

During National Massage Therapy Awareness Week, it’s important to remember that massage is more than a luxury ~ it’s a form of care, connection, and healing.

Anja from serenity.massage_anja and I honored NMTAW at our local Family Crisis Center, Inc. giving massages to the advocates and staff who work tirelessly to support survivors of domestic violence. Their compassion and strength is inspiring, and it was a gift to help them slow down and receive for a moment.

In addition to this Anja is donating 10% of all sessions booked with her through October to the Family Crisis Center, further supporting their mission to serve victims and survivors of domestic violence. Last month, I had the opportunity to take an Introduction to Breast Health class with Ceena Lund and it was such an eye-opening experience. The more I learn, the more I’m reminded of how important it is to not only support awareness, but to also empower ourselves with knowledge, prevention, and care.

💗As women, caregivers, and healers, understanding breast health goes beyond awareness. It’s about taking action, honoring our bodies, and having the right education for self-care and early detection.
