Avenues welcomes 2026 as an opportunity for growth and change, while we walk out of 2025 with memories, stories and maybe many emotions- we can move forward exploring the next chapter, page, leg of this journey we all call life. Thank you for allowing us to serve you in 2025 and we prayerfully look towards 2026 to be trusted servants and partners for growth and change. Look for the glimmers of hope and keep moving in a direction that is helpful to your mind, body and spirit- and lean into what comes. Blessings to all!

Thank you for allowing us to serve you and/or your family, we pray for continued blessings and growth- be safe and blessed this holiday season! For those First Responders and Military Personnel who are working and watching over us for the holidays- THANK YOU and God Bless you for your service!! Most of our clinicians are taking some time off to better serve you in the coming year and spend time with their families and friends, so may not be available over the holidays.

Avenues wants to welcome Makenzie "Kenzie" Hoch, LMSW!

Kenzie is a Licensed Master Social Worker with a strong foundation in social work and a commitment to supporting individuals and families through life’s challenges. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Social Work from Kansas State University in 2018, followed by a Master of Social Work with a clinical focus from the University of Kansas in 2019. Currently, Kenzie is working toward achieving clinical level licensure to expand her expertise and provide comprehensive therapeutic services.

With experience in a diverse range of settings, including child welfare, mental health, and school social work, Kenzie brings a well-rounded perspective to her practice. She currently works full time as a school social worker and plans to serve clients at Avenues for Change in Great Bend evenings and some Saturdays. Kenzie utilizes a strengths-based therapeutic approach, assisting clients in accessing their God given strengths and resilience to foster growth, improve coping skills, and achieve a safe, fulfilling life. She has a particular passion for working with adolescents, college students, and young adults, helping them navigate the complexities of school, relationships, and personal development. Kenzie is a member of the School Social Work Association of America and the Kansas School Social Workers Association.

Kenzie is currently seeing clients part-time at the Great Bend office, she will have the ability to take most insurances, feel free to reach out to schedule. 620.796.2206
