šŸ¦¶šŸ¼Plantar fasciitis is rarely just about the foot itself. Load management, mobility restrictions, strength deficits, gait mechanics, training volume, footwear, and daily movement patterns can all play a role in ongoing heel pain. That’s why our treatment approach is individualized to your body, lifestyle, and goals.

šŸ—’ļøAfter a thorough assessment, your practitioner will create a treatment plan tailored to your specific presentation. Using evidence-informed manual therapy techniques, movement assessment and therapies, soft tissue work, and mobility strategies, we focus on reducing irritation to the plantar fascia while improving the underlying factors contributing to pain.

šŸ’ŖšŸ¼At Wellsprings, we believe the body is adaptable and resilient when given the right environment and support. Our goal is not to ā€œmaskā€ symptoms, but to help improve tissue tolerance, movement capacity, and long-term function through science-based care and patient education.

🌱No gimmicks, no unrealistic promises - just practical, research-informed treatment designed to help you move with less pain and greater confidence.

šŸƒšŸ»ā€ā™‚ļøWhether your symptoms started from running, standing long hours, exercise, pregnancy, or everyday activities, we’re here to help guide you through recovery with individualized care and realistic strategies that fit your life.

Pain during rehab or exercise is not always a sign of damage… but it IS information.

One of the biggest mistakes people make is thinking the only options are:
āŒ completely avoid movement
āŒ push through no matter what

There’s a middle ground.

A 5-6/10 pain response often means it’s time to MODIFY variables - not stop altogether. Changing load, range of motion, speed, positioning, or volume can make movement much more tolerable while still building capacity.

When symptoms climb into the 7+ range, the goal shifts toward calming irritability and improving tolerance:
• reduce load
• decrease range
• slow things down
• use more supportive positions
• focus on controlled isometrics or gentler movement patterns

Pain science and rehab are rarely black and white. The goal isn’t ā€œnever feel anythingā€ - it’s finding the appropriate dose your body can currently recover from.

Progress happens when we respect irritability without creating fear of movement.

The things we avoid most are the exact things our mind and body need more of.

🧠 Think growth through discomfort.

Real wellness is rarely built through extreme, all or nothing moments. It’s built through small intentional decisions repeated consistently over time.

🩺 Our health, energy, mindset, and habits are often a reflection of the behaviors we practice daily - not the goals we think about occasionally.

The encouraging part? Change does not require perfection. It requires awareness, consistency, and a willingness to tolerate a little discomfort in the name of growth.

šŸ€ One better decision today may seem small, but repeated enough times, small choices become habits. Habits become lifestyle. And lifestyle shapes long-term health.

Resistance can act like a compass… and sometimes it points directly toward the areas that need our attention most.

šŸ¤ Lean in to the process!

ā˜€ļøThe sun is coming, and we are so excited for that extra boost of vitamin D!

Many people are told they can’t or shouldn’t lift heavy because of things like ā€œone leg is longer than the otherā€, or ā€œyour pelvis is twistedā€ or even a diagnoses of scoliosis.

The reality is: almost everyone has natural asymmetries. They’re part of being human, not a flaw that automatically limits strength or safe training.

The bigger issue is when practitioners say that these normal variations are problems that need to be ā€œfixedā€ before someone is allowed to train hard. That kind of messaging often creates fear around movement instead of building confidence in it - which evidence shows is limiting beneficial outcomes.

Strength training when appropriately programmed, generally improves capacity, control, and resilience - even in people with spinal variations or postural differences. The goal isn’t perfect symmetry. It’s function, strength, and adaptability.

Take Usain Bolt, who has scoliosis. He didn’t wait to become perfectly ā€œalignedā€ before training hard or reaching elite performance. He trained, adapted, and continued to build an exceptional capacity for output.

Pain, function, and individual context always matter. But for most people, asymmetry alone is not a reason to avoid lifting.

Train the body you have. It will adapt.

Supplements, medications, ā€œhacks,ā€ and even an hour on the table can all play a supportive role - but they won’t outweigh the other 167 hours of your week.

Real change comes from what you do consistently: how you move, what you fuel your body with (mentally and physically), how you recover, and the daily habits you repeat.

Those ā€œhacksā€ will never outwork daily patterns that are working against you.

Start with the basics - the simple, well-researched lifestyle behaviors done consistently over time. Once those are in place, everything else becomes more effective.

- move your body
- fuel properly
- get some sun
- sleep more
- get off the phone and into real life

Making a change doesn’t have to be buzz worthy and trending… it just needs to be sustainable and effective.

Want to learn out to filter out the noise and find a plan that works with your individual body?

05/01/2026

Cupping therapy is more than just those circular marks you might see - it’s a well-tolerated, evidence-informed approach that works with your body’s natural systems.

Research suggests cupping creates a local change in the tissue environment, which can stimulate interactions between the nervous, endocrine, and immune systems. This may help support how the body regulates inflammation and recovery.

Many people experience a reduction in pain, likely influenced by the body’s own endogenous opioid response. At the same time, the gentle suction can promote blood flow and reperfusion to the area, which may help reduce muscle fatigue and improve how oxygen is delivered and used within the tissue.

Cupping can also influence the feel and mobility of myofascial tissue (even at deeper layers) which may lead to a noticeable decrease in stiffness and an easier, more natural sense of movement.

It’s a safe, low-risk therapy with minimal side effects when applied appropriately, and it’s an easy addition to a well-rounded treatment plan.

Available as a stand-alone service, or added into other treatments!
