Given the state of our love and consumption of coffee and coffee beverages as well as what seems to be a growing cost to some of these beverages, I wanted to share some ideas, thoughts, and products.
1) I was recently in Sedona Az and came across a small coffee house called Free Foam Coffee Roasters. Here is there cold brew coffee with toffee, dates, and brown sugar notes. If you find yourself in Sedona, check them out as it is a quiet little spot with a cool, modern look!
2) hydration before, during and after any workout is key to health and LMNT has been one of my go to options. I love their chocolate-Carmel option with coffee.
3) Lakanto Monk Fruit sweetener. With no sugar, no net carbs, this is a healthy option for those watching sugar intake but want some sweetness.
4) coconut cream or milk(not pictured) can add a little healthy fat and add to the flavor enhancement.
5) pick your favorite coffee mug. I picked the one I grabbed from the Ambiente Landscape Hotel in Sedona! Very simple and visually appealing to me.
6) brew coffee, place all in a blender with ice, and enjoy!
*The average cost of a store bought latte at Starbucks is about 4.00$(not accounting for location, tax, store, etc). Done every day that is $28.00. Done over the course of a month, that is about $112.00. Switching to making our own, can not only help save money but also, help reduce the unwanted calories, help our waistline, and our health!
