We are getting closer to AARC Congress! It’s a short flight away from us in Phoenix. Who plans on attending from Montana?

The RCIC (respiratory care interstate compact) will not be formed until we have 7 states who join. Montana has joined and now we are waiting for others to as well. Once formed, Montana RTs can choose to join the RCIC or just obtain their standard state license.

Another great AARC House of Delegates on the books! These passionate people are moving the profession! HOSA is getting more students involved in the profession, more states are joining the respiratory interstate compact licensure (RCIC), and the Advanced Practitioner Respiratory Therapist (APRT) is building traction as mid level pulmonology is needed!

Mindy Conklin (APRT) is coming to our 2026 Montana state conference in Kalispell to tell us about her experience in this advanced profession! We can’t wait!
