Today was a great Family Day - A time of healing, laughter, and restoration. Recovery doesn’t just rebuild lives. It restores love, opens hearts, and mends relationships reminding us that family is one of the greatest gifts of this journey. What a blessing to share this special day with loved one’s and to continually seek a life of forgiveness and love to live a life of freedom and peacefulness. But for the Grace of God, there go I!. :)!…….

Congratulations on 2 years of sobriety Amanda. What a powerful testament of hope and healing. You are living proof that hope can rebuild what pain tried to destroy. Two years sober - and a lifetime of purpose still unfolding. Keep shining, and fulfilling the life you were meant to live. God does not waste the pain of your past and it is an honor to be a part of your recovery journey. Way to dig deep and be living proof that recovery does work and dreams do come to light when sobriety becomes a priority…. :)………….

A prayer for Honesty - What a relief! I’m learning to be honest! No more ducking or dodging, not more tall tales, no more pretending to be what I am not. My cards are on the table for all the world to see. I am what I am. I have an unsavory past. I’m sorrry, yes, it cannot be changed now. All that is yesterday is done. But now my life is an open book - come and look at it if you want to. I’m trying to do the best I can. I will fail often but I won’t make excuses. I will face things as they are and not run away. I want to be honest. I try to be as honest as I can. That’s why I always pray for honesty, especially before I speak, because sometimes I don’t know that I’m being dishonest. This is my honesty prayer. :)!…….

Equine at Rocky is such an integral part of one’s healing in their journey to recovery. The ability to trust the process, connect, and remain calm through the whole process is a sure confidence booster. Healing is such a broad field, yet to get out of self and live in the moment well focusing on the need to be present and connect with what is, is a big part of equine therapy. Horses feel the power of your emotions and to emotionally regulate and be calm through the uneasiness or fears of life is what brings clarity to healing with horses. :)……..Healing Begins Here!

Act as if what you do makes a difference. It does! One day at a time and Easy does it, are both mantra’s that keep us in the fight for sobriety. Some days may not make sense and your only victory may seem to just not drink or use, but that’s the greatest victory of all. To finish each day without the use of substances is what we strive for and to act as if my sobriety matters is a victorious attitude towards life. You’re always in the fight and so keep living one day at a time. Life is Better Sober! :)!…….
