This global meeting of Hair Transplant surgeons highlights cutting edge hair transplantation techniques, reviewed innovative, nonsurgical, hair restoration options, and details current evidence based medical hair loss treatments.

It was an honor to give two lectures during this Congress focused on scarring alopecia in patients with highly textured hair and hair transplantation and patients with scarring alopecia.

In addition to seeing colleagues from around the world and learning many new pearls, the highlight of this Congress was a live patient viewing🥰

I would like to extend my deepest gratitude to my patients who flew from New York to Denver to discuss their Hair Transplant journeys while dealing with scarring alopecia. I know each of the Hair Transplant doctors learned a lot from them.

Scarring alopecia is on the rise, including in men.

It may present in similar areas as , but on close exam inflammation and scarring are observed.

When treated early, both conditions can be well managed.
Tension-producing can make these conditions worse - caution tight braids and tight and frequent loc re-twisting.
