dynamo! She is a CNA that provides my husband with basic nursing care and she excels at it! She makes sure that we get
every minute she is paid to be here.

Esperanza was assigned to be my husband's CNA about a month ago. He has a number of medical issues and for over a year I
have been trying unsuccessfully to get him to follow doctor's orders and I am mentally and physically exhausted. I am
disabled as well and cannot do and be everything he needs. He has other care givers (PT and RN) who come to see him but
only Esperanza can get him to be compliant. She is gentle but insistent and he responds positively to her. You have no idea
how much I appreciate her presence every day! Steve actually looks forward to Esperanza's visits! One of her duties is to
shower him daily. In the beginning he would try to decline but she wouldn't take no for an answer. She would gently, but
rmly insist he needed to shower. It's been fun to watch her "boss" around a 6 ft 2 in man when she is a tiny young woman.
How has this Nurse or Caregiver impacted the life of the person receiving care and/or their family members?
Esperanza is a positive loving light that has blessed not only Steve but me as well. As I mentioned I am disabled and she
stepped in and took over the more physically demanding daily needs of my husband. I don't think anyone realizes how
exhausting this journey has been for both Steve and me and she has lifted that burden o our shoulders. She doesn't stop at"
