And just like that… Berkeley’s last day of sophomore year is here! This year brought new friendships, big life lessons, and so much growth. She never ceases to amaze me—so proud of the strong, smart, beautiful young woman she’s becoming. Proud mama moment!

Congratulations to Abbie Stockard, a 22-year-old nursing student from Alabama, for being crowned Miss America 2025! Abbie’s best friend, Maddie, has cystic fibrosis, and she is committed to making an impact through her community service initiative, “Be the change – Find a Cure: Cystic Fibrosis Awareness.”

In 2024, she hosted the inaugural Hoover Roast fundraiser, which raised more than $190,000 for Cystic Fibrosis Foundation - Alabama Chapter, in addition to being named the 2024 Hero of Hope.

💜 💜 Life Update (June–Early August): Berkeley starts her sophomore year tomorrow at Greeley West, and we’re thrilled about this new chapter. It’s been a busy summer! Berkeley played 15U Rec softball, and her team came in third overall. She’s improved so much and feels ready for high school ball—tryouts are Monday and Tuesday this week!

We had an amazing trip to OKC to watch the Softball College World Series and cheer on Tim’s team. Berkeley got her nose pierced as a reward for getting straight A’s, something she had been eagerly waiting for. We also went on a 7-mile hike together, had a lovely tea party with Nana, and spent quality time with Mome, Papa, Aunt Tami, and Uncle Mike.

Berkeley has also been hanging out a lot with her younger brother Cadam and, of course, her friend Andrew—he’s been such a blessing in her life.

Here’s to a great school year ahead! 🌟

💜Photo Dump – Life Update (Jan-May)

Time flew by as Berkeley's freshman year at Frontier zipped along! We kicked off the year with a brave dentist visit, celebrated birthdays with off-key singing and too much cake, and rocked out at a Chris Janson concert. Our annual CF walk was chilly but filled with heartwarming support. Berkeley ended the year with straight As, making us all incredibly proud.

Now, summer's here, and we’re ready for new adventures and lots of fun in the sun! Stay tuned for more updates!
