We’re thrilled to announce our growth and commitment to continuing to enhance healthcare in the communities we serve! This growth aligns with Banner’s mission to make healthcare easier, through improved coordination and continuity of care and additional resources to support our fellow first responders.

We're thrilled to announce that Banner Health is expanding our Med Evac services with a new helicopter stationed right here in Casper! This incredible addition will enhance emergency medical transport and critical care access across Wyoming, especially for our rural communities.

You may have noticed a lot of helicopter rescues in the news lately. When every second counts, air support can make all the difference to a backcountry search and rescue team, but if a drone is in the sky, helicopters can’t land — and that puts lives at risk. Boulder Emergency Squad works with many other agencies during critical incidents, and they want you to know that if you’re flying recreationally, we need you to stay clear of emergency scenes. Unauthorized drones can delay patient transport and compromise safety for everyone involved. If you fly, they can’t. Help us keep the airspace safe.

Help keep our first responders and aircrews safe. Never point lasers at aircraft. If you see this occurring, call 911. What may seem like a harmless prank can cause either temporary or permanent blindness and endanger the safety of all onboard and people on the ground. It’s also a federal crime: 18 U.S.C. § 39A

A man was arrested in Commerce City Thursday night after Colorado State Patrol says he was pointing a green laser at commercial airplanes.
