Is that stiffness in your feet just age, or is it something more?
Rheumatoid Arthritis (RA) often starts in the feet, causing unusual warmth and swelling. If you’re also feeling fatigued, your body might be sending a warning signal.
Don't wait for your joints to shift. Read our blog to spot the early signs of RA before they limit your life: https://tinyurl.com/4z63aam

Look at your toenails. Do you see vertical lines running from cuticle to tip?
Vertical ridges are usually just "wrinkles" of the nail. They're a normal sign of aging.
But HORIZONTAL LINES (also called Beau's lines) are a little more worrisome. They can indicate past illness, high fever, or trauma that stopped nail growth.
Unsure? Skip the guessing games. We'll keep you posted on nail health, foot health, and biomechanics, too.

You’ve seen the trend:
Influencers lifting heavy or running in "zero drop" shoes to strengthen their feet.
The Truth: It can build strength, but it’s not for everyone.
If you have flat feet or a history of plantar fasciitis, switching to barefoot training overnight is a recipe for injury. Your arches need time (and support!) to adapt.
Our Advice: Start slow. Do "barefoot" work on soft surfaces (like a yoga mat) for 10 minutes a day. If you feel heel pain, stop and support your arch!

If a painful bunion is keeping you off your feet, traditional surgery means months of downtime.
It’s time for a 3D fix.
At Foot & Ankle Center of the Rockies, we offer Lapiplasty® 3D Bunion Correction. Unlike old-school surgery that just "shaves the bump," Lapiplasty® secures the unstable joint at the root, correcting the deformity in all three dimensions.
Don't let the bunion win. Stop the bone from shifting back and recover faster with this convenient outpatient option!

Tired of hearing that bunions "just come back"?
Traditional surgery often just shaves the bump. But a bunion is a 3D problem (an unstable joint twisting in 3 directions).
And that's why we offer Lapiplasty®! With this procedure, don't just shave the bump; we secure the unstable joint at the root.
✅ Lower recurrence (studies show 97-99% success).
✅ Faster recovery (walking in a boot in days, not months).
✅Outpatient procedure that's typically done in under an hour (with NO CAST required!)

Dropping pounds 📉 ...but gaining foot pain?
It’s called "Ozempic Feet," and it's the latest cause of Fat Pad Atrophy!
When you lose weight rapidly, you lose the natural cushion under your heel and the ball of your foot. It feels like walking on marbles or bone-on-ground.
