'Cuz we are never, ever, ever, getting the flu ever again, well at least not this year. We are in our healthy era and getting the flu shot will keep you and your kiddos healthy through the rest of the year! Flu shots are here at The Children's Health Place and we hear there's no school on Monday, so give us a call and schedule your flu shot appointment soon!

There's some pretty big Life changes coming up for our staff and we want to give you a heads up. Dr. LeBlanc is getting married! and will be celebrating his honeymoon. Sara and Aislinn will be welcoming their new babies around the same time and will be take their maternity leave. This will leave a little bit of a gap in our provider schedule at the office, but not to worry, we will have some Locum Tenens (temporary) Pediatricians on hand from Children's Hospital of Colorado who will be helping us out from October 20th-29th. Please let us know if you have any questions about our schedules in the upcoming months.

Flu season is coming up and we want to make sure your children and everyone in your family are protected. We already have some Flu vaccines in stock and for our small babies and medically complex patients, who are going to need two doses before flu season really hits us, we are ready to start giving those at any visit this month. For all other patients we will be ready to start administering Flu shots to patients and parents toward the beginning of October. Give us a call if you have any questions about the flu shot!

Hellllloooo September! We've reached that confusing time of the year when you have your heater on in the morning and your AC on by lunchtime, and plenty of other conundrums. If your kiddos are suffering from those confusing symptoms of coughs, sneezes, sore throat, headaches, body aches, and you aren't sure if they are a full on cold, virus, or allergies, give us a call and schedule an appointment. It's better to get them checked out and get some treatments and remedies going before it passes through the whole family or school 🤧😷🤒

We’ve been keeping a couple secrets☺️ Sara and Aislinn are both expecting and are both due in October! Aislinn is ready to welcome a baby girl🩷, and Sara is waiting to find out 💙🩷. We are so excited for both of them and their families and we can’t wait to meet the beautiful babies 🎈

Last week we celebrated the retirement of the legacy career of our beloved Pediatrician, Dr. Dubynsky. The Children's Health Place started as Dr. Dubynsky's vision to ensure children of Northern Colorado received a 'personal approach to healthcare every child deserves', and we will work hard every day to continue that vision in his honor. With over 50 years as a Pediatrician, and 32 years of service in Greeley, CO, Dr. Dubynsky has certainly earned more time to go fishing, hiking, traveling and enjoying good food, and of course spending time with his lovely wife, Susan. We are grateful and proud to have worked with Dr. Dubynsky, his wisdom and patient care will be remembered for many generations to come. Enjoy your time off Dr. Dubynsky, you have earned it! 🎈 If you have any stories or kind words you would like to share, please leave them in the comments below or feel free to email them to andrea@mytchp.com and we will make sure Dr. Dubynsky gets to read them.

Can you believe school starts next week?! Some kids have already started but for most of district 6, school starts next week 😬 Here are just a few reminders to help get you through your child's first few weeks of school in regard to their healthcare. Good luck to all our patients and their families on the new school year, and please don't hesitate to call our office for your any of your child's healthcare needs!

You've probably noticed the hazy sky, but don't let the pretty colors fool you. The pink and orange skies mean there's heavy smoke in the area due to local and distant wildfires and also we are under an Air Quality Alert. Keep an eye on your young children or any children with respiratory illnesses such as asthma, and give us a call if you would like for us to check on any symptoms such as a cough, sneezing, itchy/irritated eyes, or shortness of breath. Try to avoid spending time outdoors until the air quality improves.

There is a little over a week left before school starts in District 6, and for some other school districts it's even less! Here at the office we have been busy conducting physical exams and filling out sports physical forms, immunization records and everything else you could need to get ready for school. We still have some openings next week, so if your child still needs a physical exam give us call! But we've also come up with a few tips to help our families get through the back to school season👨‍⚕️👩‍⚕️

Have you seen our yard signs around town? Would you like one for your yard? We have a few left that we’d like to give out to our patient families. So if you’re local to the Northern Colorado area, you have a yard, and you’re allowed to put signs in your yard, let us know in the comments if you’d like one and we’ll coordinate how to pick one up! Also if you’re a business owner and you’re willing to put one up at your business, we’d love to give you one!

After spending some time out of Colorado while in the Army, Dr. LeBlanc is happy to be back in his home state! Now that he's back, and when he's not in the office meeting his new patients, he's spending his Summer re-exploring Colorado with his fiancée Bailey! So far they are enjoying the beautiful scenery, fantastic weather, and the lack of humidity 😎🌞⛰ Let him know in the comments if you have any favorite spots he needs to check out while he's out exploring!
