Plantar fasciitis is one of the most common causes of foot pain. It is inflammation of a thick band of tissue called the plantar fascia. There can also be micro tears in the fascia or near its attachment to the heel bone.

Symptoms of plantar fasciitis are:
- Pain on the plantar aspect of the heel
- May be accompanied by stiffness
- Symptoms often experienced upon taking the first steps in the morning or after prolonged sitting or rest
- Symptoms alleviated as the heel "warms up" with moderate activity, but the pain returns again during or after exercise

Acupuncture is very effective at treating the pain and inflammation of plantar fasciitis, as well as helping it heal 😃 Call me to schedule an appointment if you've been having these aggravating symptoms

I've had lots of patients coming in with sciatic pain in the last month. It's a very common and painful ailment. The sciatic nerve is the largest nerve in the body, and when it gets pinched or inflamed it can cause pain in the low back, buttocks, and down one leg. The pain can vary from annoying to severe, possibly even making it too painful to walk or even sit sometimes.

Luckily acupuncture is very effective in treating sciatic pain! I usually use a combination of acupuncture or electroacupuncture along with cupping to treat sciatic pain, and I've been very successful in helping dozens of people with their pain 😃
