OASIS Pediatric Therapy

OASIS Pediatric Therapy We are a heart and people centered service provider, that serves families as a whole, and not just individuals.

OASIS Pediatric Therapy empowers children with delays/disabilities and their families to THRIVE, by providing exceptional in-home physical, occupational and speech therapy to the underserved in Colorado. OASIS Pediatric Therapy empowers children with delays/disabilities and their families to maximize independence and life satisfaction, by providing progressive in home physical, occupational and speech therapy, as well as resources and respite for the underserved in Colorado. Our goal is to be the very best at what we do, not the biggest. We are founded and run by two of Northern Colorado's best and most established therapists, with over 40 years of combined experience, as well as working mothers. They are intimately acquainted with the experience and struggles of both parents of children with delays/disabilities and of clinicians. We strongly believe that the foundation of great service begins with the genuine care, support, and respect of our service providers. Therefor we encourage every therapist in their endeavors for well being and maintaining a healthy work life balance. Because of this we allow every therapist to decide their own working hours and location. Learn more about us at www.oasispediatrictherapy.com

What if emotional regulation starts inside the body, not with behavior?

In our latest guest blog, Emily Stockert, OTR, explores interoception and why this often-overlooked sense plays a critical role in emotional regulation for autistic children. She also shares practical ways therapists and caregivers can begin supporting interoceptive awareness.

Parents often notice the earliest signs at home.

Developmental screenings help identify areas where a child may benefit from extra support, whether that shows up in communication, movement, social interaction or daily routines. Some signs are easy to spot, while others can be more subtle and easy to miss.

If you have questions or concerns about your child’s development, our team is here to help.

OASIS Pediatric Therapy was built to support children and families in ways that are practical, respectful and rooted in everyday life.

Our therapists provide speech, occupational and physical therapy in both home and clinic settings, with care plans shaped around each child’s needs and each family’s reality. The goal is meaningful progress that carries beyond sessions and into daily routines. www.oasispediatrictherapy.com

Play has purpose here.

In therapy, play is how children practice movement, communication and connection in ways that feel natural and motivating. It supports development across motor, social, emotional and cognitive skills while helping children build confidence along the way.

Everyday routines offer built-in opportunities for children to practice important developmental skills.

Simple activities like getting dressed, eating a meal or playing help support fine motor development, communication, coordination and social interaction. When these routines are consistent and supportive, children can build skills naturally as part of daily life.

This is why therapy often focuses on real-life activities — progress is most meaningful when it carries over into everyday moments.
