✨ Meet Danielle Ripsam, OTR ✨
This month for Occupational Awareness Month, we’re highlighting the meaningful impact occupational therapists have in helping children build independence and confidence in their everyday lives.
Danielle was first drawn to occupational therapy because of its unique blend of science, creativity and compassion, and the opportunity to make a real difference while incorporating play into her work.
What she loves most now is building long-term relationships with the children and families she serves. It’s a privilege to walk alongside them through both challenges and celebrations, supporting caregivers and recognizing the progress happening every day.
One area she’s especially passionate about is helping children expand the foods they feel comfortable eating. For children with very limited diets, even small steps forward can make a big difference, creating more ease at mealtimes, increasing confidence in social settings and opening the door to new everyday experiences.
At OASIS, occupational therapy is about more than milestones, it’s about helping children and families thrive.
