Our Story

For more information on our programs contact Debra Michael, Executive Director, horsebuds.deb@gmail.com. HorseBuds provides services, programs, and activities for children and adults with physical, disabilities, as well as emotional, behavioral, and cognitive challenges for the purpose of improving their physical, emotional and social well-being. Programs: (1) Sensory Saturdays: for families of children with autism and neurodevelopmental special needs—for children of all ages and taught by a practitioner of the Horse boy Method ™ and Mentor of the Movement Method. (2) Wild About Horses—an Equine Facilitated Learning Program for At-Risk children. (3) Wild About Veterans: an Equine Facilitated Learning Program.
