Whew! ☃️💪🧘♀️
My morning workout has commenced!
It’s that wet and sticky kind, and my old snowblower is out of commission.
Please be careful with your shoveling routine and take the time to do it properly!
Every year, especially with the first few heavy snowfalls, my phone blows up with back and shoulder injury calls from both existing and new clients who have injured themselves while shoveling snow.
We may think we’re tough and fine while doing it, but it’s often the next day when we feel the pain.
It’s absolutely worth it to stretch before and after, practice the proper body mechanics and be mindful while you’re shoveling to listen to your body’s signals- if you’re feeling twinges of pain, change your posture and approach right away!
