Second generation photographer, natural light enthusiast, memory maker. www.portermeisterphotography Photography has always been a part of my life.

I remember playing in the dark room as a child while my dad developed his film. The sulfury smell of the stop baths and the hum of the enlarger. Of course things are different now, and the tools my father used to make award winning images are now available on the computer. However, the ideals remain the same: create amazing images and help stop time. My practice isn't about getting a perfect portrait with everyone looking straight at the camera in matching shirts, although I can happily help you out with a version of that. It's more about helping you stop time at the moments in your life that are the most precious: graduating high school, becoming engaged, getting married, pregnancy and the birth of your children. And it's also about finding those small moments where life is incredible; a baby's smile, a laugh, a tantrum.
