Today we wear teal to stand with survivors, raise awareness, and to show that their voices matter. A small act like this can spark conversations, break stigma, and remind others they’re not alone🩵

April 1st is the start of Sexual Assault Awareness Month. A month dedicated to education, community engagement, and supporting survivors. HSHS St. Vincent’s SANE (Sexual Assault Nurse Exam) team participated in the Paint the Town Teal initiative today alongside members of the victim advocacy programs who have collaborated to spread awareness and show support for survivors in our communities. Family Services Sexual Assault Center, Wise Women Gathering Place, Oneida Family Services, and We All Rise African American Resource Center have combined efforts to spread awareness this April by facilitating the 4th year of Paint the Town Teal. Look for teal ribbons all around town, and if you have an organization or business that would like a teal ribbon painted in your window, you can call 920-436-8899 to be added to the list.
