Blizzard Elsa has turned Green Bay into a real-life Frozen movie ❄️

While the cold never bothered us, the two feet of snow and blowing drifts definitely do. So, we were closed on Monday, March 16th.

We are happy to say that our Lab is back open today. But, as we dig ourselves out, our customers may experience one- to two-day shipping delays.

Even grown-ups get snow days sometimes ❄️

With a historic blizzard rolling through Green Bay, Wisconsin, we have decided to close our Lab today, Monday, March 16th, to keep our team safe.

Our top priority is taking care of our people, and today that means staying off the roads and out of the snowdrifts.

Our phones are still on, though, so if you need anything, give us a call.

We offer an accelerated turnaround time with lenses crafted to meet the highest quality standards by experts who have recived the same certifications as opticians. All this in an effort to give eye care professionals more ways to say “yes” to their patients.

As an independently-owned optical laboratory, we give eye care professionals the autonomy to choose the lens brands, materials, styles and coatings that best fit the individual needs of patients. Through our proximity to and part-ownership of a local lens distribution warehouse, Cherry maintains the largest and most diverse lens inventory in the world.

Cherry Optical, Inc has been named IDD Laboratory of the Year four times – (2010, 2012, & 2017, 2018) and presented the Varilux Award of Excellence three years in a row (2015, 2016 & 2017) – by consistently leading with innovation.
