When you think of something as "paranormal," the natural instinct is to jump to 😱😨AHH GHOSTS! The cool thing about this field is that paranormal is a ginormous umbrella word for everything that falls outside the boundaries of what we consider to be "normal."

I consider myself to be a paranormal researcher, looking into things that just don't make sense (hauntings, cryptids, anomalous activity) and I'm also a paranormal person (psychic medium/animal communicator, energy worker, shamanic practitioner.)

Part of the reason I'm so passionate about this field and the work I put into it comes from my attempts at not pigeonholing the term to fit one larger perspective. Yes, ghosts are cool and I love exploring locations to gather evidence to further legitimize this scientific field, but they're not the only occupants of this definition!
