🌿💜The Longest Day 💜🌿is a special awareness event created by the Alzheimer’s Association to honor people living with Alzheimer’s and other dementias—and those who love and care for them.
It takes place each year on the summer solstice (the longest day of the year 6.21) as a symbol of the long, often challenging journey that comes with dementia.
💜 Why it matters:
Because every story matters. Every memory matters. Every person matters.
📅 Stay tuned for event details, times, and ways you can participate!
Let’s stand together, celebrate life, and fight for a future without Alzheimers
The Longest Day reminds us that the journey with dementia doesn’t end when the sun goes down—and neither does our commitment to awareness, support, and community connection.
This June, join the ADRC for a series of dementia and brain health events designed to educate, connect, and empower individuals, care partners, and the community.
