We are so happy to announce fulfillment of another dream for our "Tree of Dreams." Verna is a lady who’s true calling in life was to be a mother. In fact, Verna shared with us that her favorite job in life was that of raising her two children. During numerous conversations with Verna, she mentions how important it is to her that her children know how much she loves and respects them.
Among other passions she enjoys, two are writing letters and poems. If you are fortunate enough to have her call you a friend, you can expect to receive a continuous stream of handwritten, thoughtful letters in the mail. You could possibly be the recipient of one of her many handwritten poems as well. Verna shared her poem book she created many years ago that include both poems that were written by her and by family and friends. That book has expanded over the years with many more added poems ‘taped’ into the book or carefully paperclipped to another page.
With the help of Laura, our Business Office Director, we transferred those priceless memories into a new book, giving a copy to Verna and her two children. We hope you enjoy them Verna!
