I have never been a fan of the first week of April… 28 years ago, on May 31, 1998, my grandmother (my dad’s mom) called me and told me that my dad had gone into a coma after his bone marrow transplant… a transplant that was supposed to help eradicate the leukemia from his system.
Mind you… I had just gone down to see him on the 30th. He was very sleepy and not totally responsive, but that can happen after a major transplant like that. We went back down on April 1, 1998… I went home on April 3… with my father gone from this journey of his life on Earth.
It has taken me a long time to not focus on the pain of what happened… because without those dates, I wouldn’t be the man I am today.
I used to say I would trade it all just to have him back… but now I’m grateful for the path it brought me to. Now I find gratitude in this timeframe… I find love in my heart for everything I’ve accomplished from then until now… and for everything I still will accomplish before I get to meet him again.

Hey everyone… just wanted to check in and let you all know I’ve been a little under the weather since last Tuesday. Honestly, I haven’t been sick in a couple years, so this one hit a little different.

It was one of those moments where my body was clearly saying… “slow down… pause… rest.” And like most of us, I tried to push through it at first. But I knew pretty quickly that if I actually wanted to heal, I had to listen.

So I did what I know works for me… I got back into nature, grounded myself, and took a couple little adventures with my four-legged companion, Zelda. No rushing… no forcing… just being present.

Sometimes the medicine isn’t doing more… it’s doing less.
Sometimes healing isn’t pushing through… it’s reconnecting.

Today I had a random encounter leaving Menards that turned into a conversation about God, Jesus, and what it really means to believe.

This is a continuation of the story from my live on March 20… but this time I’m diving into what actually triggered me to start looking inward at the wounded feminine within myself.

Sometimes it’s not the big obvious moments… it’s those subtle triggers that hit something deeper… something we’ve been carrying for a long time. What I thought was just anger coming up turned into something much more… a realization that it wasn’t my masculine at all… it was the wounded feminine inside me asking to be acknowledged.

In this video I walk through that moment… what sparked it… and how it opened the door to a deeper level of awareness and healing.
