Day 449:

Great and challenging day at The 34 Project! We love how her therapist pushes her and we love how Audrey rolls with the challenges. No matter how uncomfortable it has to be for her she always does exceptional! One new thing they introduce near the end of her session was she was hooked up to equipment that helped stretch out her extremities. I’m not sure what it’s called but I’m including some pics.

She also rode the bike, got on the tilt table, vibration plate, did some of the figure eight exercises, she had quite the workout. Even with all that she gets home and she wants to continue working!!!! She’s one determine girl!

She’s finally gave it up and rested til she fell asleep.

The Lord is my strength and my shield; My heart trusts in Him, and I am helped; Therefore my heart exults, And with my song I shall thank Him.
Ps. 28:7

Please continue praying for all these areas: We are seeing improvement in all areas! Praise the Lord

1. continual healing of Brain
2. Being able to find her voice
3. Movement in arms and legs
4. progress in her swallowing
5. pray for her muscle memory and contracted muscles to free up
6. Continued good sleep

Day 448: Today our girl made up for her busy day and took the day for much needed rest and refreshing. Tomorrow she’ll return to the 34 Project for another workout. Good Sleep is so important.

Thank you all for your continue prayers .

Romans 12:12 “ Rejoice in hope, be patient in tribulation, be constant in prayer"

FYI: Why Sleep is Crucial for TBI:

Brain Healing: Sleep clears toxins and repairs neural pathways damaged during the injury.

Cognitive Function: Proper sleep helps improve memory, attention, and mental clarity.

Mood Regulation: Adequate rest helps manage emotional volatility, depression, and anxiety that often follow a TBI.

Day 447: Today was the start of Audreys third week at The 34 project.
We met a new friend and TBI survivor, Chris, today and visiting with his Mom brought a renewed sense of encouragement. We already know how hard Audrey works, and we are seeing improvement, but to be able to visit with someone who goes through something similar and to hear reports of their progress is such a tremendous blessing.

Again she worked so hard, one of her favorite things of course is the FSE bike and true to form Audrey stayed right on track. The man next to us that was riding his bike expressed his jealously in how smooth Audrey’s legs worked while pedaling!!!

Therapist had her on the tilt table and work various muscle groups, but par for the course Audrey had her own idea of what she wanted to do next.

Workout was really really good and therapist is working hard to help Audrey find her center. She
used 3 lb. weights on her wrist during all of her workout except while riding bike. She also engaged Audrey in the ball game with doing the figure eight motions, as well as doing manual figure eight motion in her body and on her head.

FYI: Neurological Integration: The figure-eight (or Lazy 8) pattern forces the brain's left and right hemispheres to work together. This promotes better communication within the brain, which is often disrupted after a traumatic brain injury (TBI).

Our girl worked so hard during her session, and we couldn’t be prouder. Thank you Lord Jesus, we will give you all praise and glory! We will also continue to celebrate every small thing she is able to accomplish and give her lots of praise for doing so!!

Ecclesiastes 3:13 “And also that every man should eat and drink, and enjoy the good of all his labour, it is the gift of God." -

Ultimately, this scripture serves as a reminder to appreciate the simple pleasures in life as well as your hard work and to recognize them as gifts from a loving and generous God.

Please continue praying because we are seeing the results of prayer!!

Day 445: What an amazing and blessed day! As most of you know early on the morning of January 1, 2025, at 1:19 a.m. Audrey was involved in a horrific auto accident leaving her with a Traummatic Brain Injury. What you may not know is that from the very beginning our girl was covered in prayer!

Today Audrey and Salina got to meet the woman who first came to Audrey’s aid and stayed by her side until authorities and emergency workers arrived at the scene and were able to get her out of her car! This woman was there by divine appointment whether she realized it at the time or not. She was traveling behind Audrey and witnessed the wreck. She stopped and ran to Audrey already covering her in prayer. It has brought us such peace knowing that Audrey was never alone. We will be forever indebted to her and we are so very thankful that she ( without thought) made the supreme sacrifice to run to the aide of a stranger.

It was a month later before she was able to find out Audrey’s name and condition, but never stopped praying for her. After finding out Audrey’s name and her page she reached out to us and has been following her progress ever since.

We praise the Lord that he sent this woman to Audrey in the time of her greatest need. Salina said she shared a lot things regarding the accident and Audrey’s condition that we were not aware of. She relayed to Salina that the whole time Audrey never stopped breathing!

Unfortunately I couldn’t be there today to meet this GREAT Lady, but hopefully I will get to meet her and thank her myself in the near future.

I know that this day meant so much to both Salina and Audrey!

Wow what a great blessing and a testament to the fact that there are true loving and compassionate people in this world that can step out of their box and minister to others in such a Christ like manner. Thank you Sweetleaf!!!!

James 2:14-17 – “What good is it, my brothers and sisters, if someone claims to have faith but has no deeds? Can such faith save them? Suppose a brother or a sister is without clothes and daily food. If one of you says to them, ‘Go in peace; keep warm and well fed,’ but does nothing about their physical needs, what good is it? In the same way, faith by itself, if it is not accompanied by action, is dead.”

Day 444: What an exhausting week! She was on the road more days than home. 3 trips to OKC and then one trip to Pauls Valley yesterday for Pt at Physical Therapy Central. I think she was just over so much workout through the week.

Today she rested and slept all morning; however this afternoon she was revived and showed out. Sitting up in bed (with just little assistance) and then we helped her move to edge of bed with feet touching the floor. She sat up for quite some time, interacting with everyone as best she could. Kash, Payton and Payton’s friend, Paisley hung out for awhile. Audrey raised arm and fist bumped Kash! She loves spending time with her lil brother..

Everyday she seems to gain more movement in her right arm. Hallelujah!
Seems once she does something she keeps repeating same movement.

1 Timothy 4:15 "Practice these things, immerse yourself in them, so that all may see your progress".

Please continue your prayers for:

1. continual healing of Brain
2. Being able to find her voice
3. Movement in arms and legs
4. progress in her swallowing
5. pray for her muscle memory and contracted muscles to free up
6. Continued good sleep

Day 442: Another great workout at The 34 Project. Of course her fav is the FES Bike and today she did 2.27 miles and most of the time kept up a 40 mph speed.

Yasmin showed up today and she got to participate in some of the therapies. We are so grateful for the bond these two have! And ever thankful for her being ever present and showing up.

Audrey was thoroughly spent and did sleep the majority of trip home. However she was wide awake by time we arrived back at her house. We got her nutrition and meds done then thought we’d let her rest some more. Got her in bed and the minute Rodney came in after work, she reached out for his hand and once he took her hand she began to sit up!!! No keeping our girl down.

The page won’t allow other pics with this video ( even though I cut it down). So I will post separately.

Tomorrow she’ll have PT at Physical Therapy Central so please pray that she rest well tonight and wakes refreshed and ready for PT.

Romans 12:2: Do not conform to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind.

Remember to continue prayers for:

2. Being able to find her voice
3. Movement in arms and legs
4. progress in her swallowing
5. pray for her muscle memory and contracted muscles to free up
6. Continued good sleep

Thank you!

Day 441: Audrey rested well from her workout yesterday! PTL

Salina reported that she had a huge breakthrough this afternoon. As she was preparing to shower Audrey, she was able to raise her arm and pull it through, on her own, from her jacket sleeve!!!! (Not one but was able to do both arms). This is so huge. We’ve all been working to get her to move her arms and today she did it all on her own! Praise Jesus for all he is doing in her recovery.

Her journey has been long but every step of the way we see progress daily. We are so grateful for the therapy she’s receiving both from Physical Therapy Central and her therapist at The 34 Project. I’ve included a short video from yesterday as her therapist works with helping her identify and use various muscle.

Audrey is working hard to connect the dots as her brain heals. She’s relearning all the things that you and I do daily but don’t give much thought about how those things are accomplished.

Colossians 1:17 He is before all things, and in him all things hold together."

Please continue your faithful prayers for:

1. continual healing of Brain
2. Being able to find her voice
3. Movement in arms and legs
4. progress in her swallowing
5. pray for her muscle memory and contracted muscles to free up
6. Continued good sleep and sufficient rest

We are seeing results and it is very exciting!

Day 440: additional video from today at The 34 project!

03/18/2026

Day 440: Today was workout day for Audrey at The 34 Project. Wow what an extreme workout today! She started out a bit sluggish, but didn’t take her long to perk up and shine.

She rode the bike for over 2 miles and except for short time at the beginning she stayed in line and used both legs at sane levels.

Her therapist worked her for quite some time helping her find her center and being able to pull herself back.

She used a different stander today and therapist was able to get her completely straight up with bearing weight on her feet as much as possible.

Page won’t allow me to post additional videos or pictures. I didn’t get a picture of her standing up completely due to Salina and I helping assist therapist, by holding her ankles straight. You can see in this video how her ankles would turn. Had to stop and start again with Salina and I helping to hold ankles straight to get her all the way up.

She was completely worn out by time we got home. I think today’s workout was so intense it took everything out of her. Brain power and physical strength were both exhausted.

Pray for her to able to rest well tonight

Jeremiah 31:25 : "I will refresh the weary and satisfy the faint."

Day 438: It’s been a good weekend for Audrey, after having such a busy week. She’s napped a lot today but whenever she woke she was in a good mood. She especially liked having her brother Kash around for lots of snuggles.

This week will be another full week so please keep her in your prayers. Tomorrow she has appointment with speech pathologist, Tuesday and Thursday will be workouts at The 34 Project then Pt at Physical Therapy Central on Friday.

Proverbs 16:3 “Commit to the LORD whatever you do, and he will establish your plans."

It instructs believers to entrust their efforts, goals, and daily tasks to God, shifting from self-reliance to trusting His guidance, resulting in plans that align with His will and purpose

Pray for:

1. continual healing of Brain
2. Being able to find her voice
3. Movement in arms and legs
4. progress in her swallowing
5. pray for her muscle memory and contracted muscles to free up
6. Continued good sleep

Day 436: Another day of outpatient therapy at Physical Therapy Central. This has been a busy hard working week for Audrey and we are so proud of how well she’s done and all the hard work she’s put in. ( sorry didn’t even think about getting pics as she worked with Allie) Audrey had a special little cheerleader today! Her little cousin Raylee got to come watch!! And of course Audrey had to show out for her. Later at home we got to have a bit of girlie time. Audrey got her legs shaved, got a pedicure and she and Raylee got their fingernails painted alike!!

Raylee even did Audrey’s facial massage. ( got a picture of that) so sweet how she enjoys helping with Audrey. They have always had a special bond.

Colossians 3:15
And let the peace of Christ rule in your hearts, to which indeed you were called in one body. And be thankful.

Pray Audrey has a refreshing and restful weekend.
