LIFE Academy, LLC L.I.F.E Academy, LLC is a company which offers Daily Living skills training and Supportive Home Care

The daily living skills training that LIFE Academy provides is designed to help individuals with disabilities increase their skills in all areas needed to maintain a residence of their own or be more involved in their current residence (group home, family residence, adult family home, etc.). It is designed to focus on the areas identified by the individual, guardians, and county case managers. Training is provided but not limited to the following skill sets, utilizing public transportation, financial planning and understanding, grocery shopping and meal planning, cooking, cleaning, as well as personal and public safety. The purpose of this program is to allow clients the opportunities to increase their daily living skills and find success living independently.

We may not always see the easiest of times but we definitely know the best times are the ones spent together!
A fun Saturday with this crew...picked everyone up, headed for some Mexican Food at Mexico Lindo, and then over to Pamperin Park for a little fun in the sun.
We missed a few regulars, and added a few just for the day but no matter the combination, friends are friends and the times together are important.
It never ceases to amaze me how important social events, community integration, friendships and untraditional learning experiences are for everyone and their mental and physical health. Feeling very grateful, thankful and blessed to be able to help "our crew" (all of them, not just these few) live thier fullest, best and most independent lives.

As I sit at my desk, sorting paperwork, sending in monthly billing and answering the phone I realized today is our 11th Anniversary. Happy Anniversary L.I.F.E. Academy, LLC.
While we may not be a perfect agency we continue to strive to be the best of the best. We have great community competition and we appreciate the challenge.
We have grown, changed, adapted a great deal in the last 11 years. The industry has had some huge ups and downs and we are proud to have been a part of them all. We continue feel blessed to be going forward.
Our goal is to offer above adequate services to those with varying abilities through professional, and personable supports on every level. The work we (and others) do is important to so many.
We want to thank all of the individuals, families, care teams, other service providers, and the community for all of the support through out the past 11 years. We will keep working hard to make a positive difference.

I /we have a friend of L.I.F.E. Academy, LLC who has had a rough 2 years. His "family" betrayed him by stealing from him, not just a little but a lot. The only people he truly considered family were taken away (rightfully so) and now he looks to Myself (Joanne) and Melissa (Lissa) for support. He has a corporate guardian, lives in an independent setting with support (not thru this agency) and could really use some lifting this Xmas season.
He doesn't need clothes specifically but rather things of entertainment. Like word searches, mid level puzzles, music related items, grocery cards/ Walmart gift cards, or Aldis or Amazon, restaurant cards. He likes Diet soda only, mostly diet dew. (Doesn't need it but likes it as a treat). He also likes the color orange, so orange sweatshirts, hats, gloves, socks, shirts.
