💙 Celebrating a Legacy of Nursing 💙

We were deeply inspired reading about Sheila Tison, who is retiring after an incredible 45-year career in nursing at Ascension Sacred Heart Bay. Over the decades, Sheila cared for patients through Hurricane Michael, COVID-19, and countless hospital transitions—while also mentoring generations of nurses who proudly call themselves “Sheila’s babies.”

At AristaCare, we know firsthand how rare and remarkable it is for someone to dedicate their life to this profession. Sheila’s story is a beautiful reminder of the heart, resilience, and humanity that define nursing.

🥪💛 Sometimes, healing looks like a warm sandwich and a big smile.

Mr. Wyatt shared with our Director of Quality Experience, Blondel, that he missed the comfort of good ol’ Southern cooking—especially sausage and peppers. So Blondel did what she does best: she showed up with heart and a sausage & pepper sub.

The joy on Mr. Wyatt’s face said it all. Between bites, he smiled and said, “Now all I need are some collard greens!”
