Funshine Camp
Our camp is a 4 day event that consists of special events and activities for anyone with any type of disability. We serve approximately 6-7 counties surrounding Yancey County, NC. We are strictly a camp that is run by volunteers. We have NO paid staff. We have a board that meets monthly. We also have special events during other times in the year, i.e., Spring Fling, Halloween Party and Christmas banquet. We would ask that if you are reading this, you would send up a prayer for our camp. We would not be here if it were not for people’s prayers. Also, if you know of someone or a group who would love to volunteer for our camp, please contact us. We take donations no matter how small or how large. Our Funshine Camp is ALWAYS the week after Father’s Day, so our campers will know when it is each year. We also, have a different theme for our camp each year.
