"The Legend of the Three Spirit Horses"
In the time when the earth was still young,
when every tree had a voice,
and every stone remembered footsteps,
the People lived in balance with all things.
But balance is fragile.
Greed came like a slow, creeping shadow.
Men began to take more than they needed.
The songs of gratitude faded.
The land, once generous, grew silent.
Seeing this, the Great Spirit wept.
From His tears, three horses were born — not of flesh and bone, but of wind, storm, and memory.
The Dark Horse came first, cloaked in night and war paint red as blood.
It galloped into battlefields, where hatred burned hot.
It whispered to the warriors:
"Strike only when necessary. For every drop of blood feeds the earth in sorrow."
The Blood Horse came next, white as moonlight, marked with crimson symbols of sacrifice.
It walked among the fallen, carrying their souls gently back to the Sky World.
"Honor the fallen," it said,
"For without memory, you are lost."
The Wind Horse came last, swift and untamed, its body a dance of white and black — of peace and fury.
It guided the lost and weary through storms,
teaching them to listen to the voice of the land again.
"Freedom is not doing as you wish," it sang,
"Freedom is knowing your place in the circle."
The Three Spirit Horses rode across the world for many seasons.
They healed what was broken.
They silenced the swords.
They rekindled the songs in every heart.
When harmony was restored, they vanished into the mist —
but not forever.
Before they departed, they left a vow:
"When the earth cries again,
when men forget gratitude,
when the drums fall silent —
we will return.
And we will remind the world:
The strongest rider is the one who rides in balance."
Even today, the elders gather by the fire and say:
"When thunder rolls without rain,
when wild horses run under a crimson sky —
listen closely.
The Three Spirit Horses are near,
galloping to awaken our sleeping spirits once more."
